Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?
Originally from Alexandria, Louisiana
I currently reside in Georgetown, Texas
If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?
After graduating college I moved to Bentonville, Arkansas to work with Walmart Corporate Home Office and then my career led me to the Austin, Texas area
What made you decide to write and publish your first book?
My decision to write my first book was inspired by my daughter. I wanted to leave something that would be a part of my legacy for years to come and also something she would be proud of when she got old enough to appreciate.
How would you describe your books to first time readers?
My books are all written with my heart and they reveal layers of me in each of them. My books seek to inspire and motivate my readers. They are also intended to be relatable to any generation,race,culture and gender.
Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?
I feel the readers who would most likely connect with the topics I write about are introverts, creative thinkers (poets,storytellers,ect), those who feel unheard and have no voice, and those who seek inspiration and motivational content.
What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?
The unexpected thing i learned during the process of writing and publishing is how much time and thought that goes into creating relatable content that connects with your audience. Its sometimes challenging knowing how to balance playing it safe versus taken chances in order to hold a reader’s attention.
If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?
Do your homework, take your time, ask for feedback and belief in the process would be the advice i give my past self before embarking on this journey.

What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?
My biggest challenge and frustration during the process is staying motivated and not rushing.

My biggest strengths include creativity and marketing.

I think i will write my next book within 1-2 years
